A profitable day, eventually...

Today did not start out the way we had planned. On the list of very important things that we had to do today, getting some laundry done and cutting a bit of the grass was as far as we got. We didn't get to to the meeting at City Hall about the water issues in Jaco, because we were waiting for the real estate agent to let us into a property so we could send pictures to some potential buyers. We didn't get into the property to take the pictures, because the real estate agent didn't ever get back to us...and so the day went.

Ruth, our partner in crime (or at least publishing) met us for dinner at a restaurant called "I Love Sushi", where she introduced us to some of her Jaco friends. One of which is currently building the resort you see at the top of the page. It doesn't look quite like this yet, but some of the units on the lower floors are done, and we have been invited to go and see them tomorrow and take some pictures. That, and we will be putting in a two page spread in the phone book, and multiple ads in the magazine.

We also met Mark, (or at least I did because Geoff had met him before) the owner of I Love Sushi. And also now a client of the phone book, and the magazine.

So despite a slow start, the day ended well. Tomorrow we go to Atenas for dinner, and will be staying overnight with our friends Mike and Sharyn.

Hasta manana.
